Lindsey’s passion from a young age has always been dance and as an adult has been very lucky to pursue a career in the dance industry. As a child she attended various dance schools learning a wide variety of dance genres, from Ballet, Jazz and Tap to Ballroom, Latin and Rock and Roll, and was a regular participant at competitions. At the age of 14 she became the UK National Champion in ISTD Disco Freestyle and as part of a crew in 2011 was crowned the UK National Street Dance Champions.
As a keen performer Lindsey has taken part in many shows over the years; as a backing dancer and choreographer for a small scale touring production of Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus Tribute Act in 2010. In 2011 she was lucky enough to perform at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London, as well as in front of the judges on Sky’s Got To Dance. In 2012 Lindsey was a dancer in the London 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.
As well as performing Lindsey also has a passion for choreographing and teaching and has been doing this around Hertfordshire since 2008. As a choreographer Lindsey has worked on many projects including; dance and cheerleading classes with XLR8 Dance and Fitness, Children’s camps with various companies and Musical Theatre shows with Herts Talent Drama Academy. She has also choreographed for semi-finalist Krupa on Indian TV programme Just Dance, as well as choreographing and performing for various charity events. Lindsey’s performing career doesn’t stop at dancing and has been an extra in music videos for Twenty Twenty and Yolanda Be Cool, as well as an extra in films including Big Fat Gipsy Gangster and Streetdance 2.
Lindsey’s qualifications include a BA Honours Degree in Performing Arts Dance and a Higher National Diploma in Performing Arts. She is also a qualified Zumba and Aqua Zumba Instructor, Cheerleading Instructor and Burlex Fitness Instructor. This year she plans to complete her exercise to music qualification.
